est of New Orleans and is still suffering from hurricane Katrina. We are going to be part of a group of volunteers to help re-build some of the hardest hit homes from the poorest people. We are part of DRS (Disaster Response Services) which in turn is affiliated with the CRWRC (Christian Reformed Relief Committee).We're looking forward to join our good friends Tom & Grace who are the site managers for the period that we'll be there (first 3 weeks of November). At this point, Annie is experiencing some physical problems that may jeopardize the trip. We hope and pray that she will be ok by the time we have to leave.
I'm hoping to add to my blog daily when we're there. I hope I've got some energy left after all the physical work exercise we're about to get each day.
